Coach T in the huddle
Many former college and pro athletes go on to coach in their respective sports. Most don't have the personality to make the grade at the college level. Things are different in Berkeley, though. The Golden Bears have an outstanding coach with a very high football IQ that began to develop as a star QB back in college. Check out his player profile for more on Coach T at the link below. It won't be any surprise to learn about his accomplishments on the field and on the sidelines.

Tennessee: Lane Kiffin (Fresno State, 1994-96)
Kiffin had some unfortunate timing. The QB never took a snap while sitting behind future NFL player Billy Volek – also his roommate. Fortunately his offensive coordinator at the time, Cal’s Jeff Tedford, asked him to become a graduate assistant instead of riding the pine as a senior.

[Stoops is] still best remembered for running into a goal post and knocking it down during a game vs. Michigan State.
I think that’s seriously the most appropriate thing I’ve ever read.

It was fantastic."

This year’s breakout coaching star, not much is known about his college career except he spent time at quarterback, receiver and defensive back for the FCS program where he served as an assistant from 1994-2006.
Screw Chip Kelly, UNH sucks! They were lucky they got to avoid the juggernaught that is the University of Richmond this year.
Damnit, Tedford!
