So Cal lost 5-1 but in case you ever wondered what a Cal Ice Hockey game looks like and some thoughts, follow the jump.

The atmosphere for these Big Freeze games is fun, there's the usual hate for anything associated with Stanfurd.  There's a lot of hitting going on, almost at the expense of actually making the proper play on the puck, but hey that's fun to watch.

Cal dominated the majority of the play, but just couldn't get anything past the Stanford goalie.  They also got off their game during the second half of the first period when Stanford scored all five of their goals.  Give credit to the way Stanford kept away really good scoring chances but Cal did control the puck in their zone a lot.
