FIRST DOWN BEARS!

WHAT'S YOUR DEAL?

by Thoroughbred on Nov 21, 2009 5:18 PM PST reply actions

If you're going to run Wildcat again,

then give it some variation! Either give it to Solefe or make a throw. What’s the point of doing all the play action, if Vereen’s going to keep it all the time?

I agree

In other words, Go Bears!

by royrules22 on Nov 21, 2009 5:19 PM PST up reply actions

That's understandable I guess

I personally want him out of California but that’s just me.

because he's a threat.........

I understand…..you long for the days of Buddy Teavens and Walt Harris.

Its okay

Actually no. It’s because he’s an ass. More competitive Big Games are welcome.

i prefer straight up domination of the ’furd. i liked buddy teevens and walt harris.

I dont blame you.......

Having guaranteed conference wins are always nice…….especially in the Pac-10 when you KNOW you have to play everyone.

He’s a threat, but Tedford did better his first 3 years.

WHAT'S YOUR DEAL?

by Thoroughbred on Nov 21, 2009 6:06 PM PST up reply actions

Understandable considering what Tedford inherited compared to what Harbaugh inherited......

I dont recall Cal being a 1 win team when Tedford being hired.

umm… are you being serious

we were 1-11 the year before Tedford came.

WHAT'S YOUR DEAL?

by Thoroughbred on Nov 21, 2009 6:08 PM PST up reply actions

you may argue we had better talent (which we did)

but we did not have a better record

WHAT'S YOUR DEAL?

by Thoroughbred on Nov 21, 2009 6:09 PM PST up reply actions

Uh what?

Cal was 1-10 in 2001. Tedford’s first year was 2002. The 2001 team’s only win was against a pathetic Rutgers team

My favorite moment was USC that year. We were driving in for a meaningless touchdown, the mic man had said he wanted to get rolled up when we scored, so of course Boller threw a pick six. We rolled the mic man up anyway and started a FUCK USC chant.

Vandy training 24-10 to UT to start 3rd quarter

I would root for Sadaam Hussein over UT…yet I am willing to ditch that game and take the L if it means sticking it to the Furd. I used all my Vandy karma in the won over St Mary’s anyway.

You hear me God? I’m tryin’ to make you a deal here…

Does anyone agree with me that the best day of Cal football in the Tedford era was big game 06

when we won and then found out later USC had lost and we won a share of the PAC 10 title?

Not embittered about the whole Bama thing. Nosirree.

by VandyImport on Nov 21, 2009 6:05 PM PST up reply actions

yeah that just made me bitter.

My favorite game was sticking it to Tennessee. Or Oregon ’07

WHAT'S YOUR DEAL?

by Thoroughbred on Nov 21, 2009 6:04 PM PST up reply actions

Sticking it to Tennessee in '07 was damn near the best day of my life

especially watching those Big Orange UTards realizing that not only were they getting that ass tapped on national TV, they had to get back to the hotel on public transit. At night. Through Oakland.

One of them asked me for directions to the BART station. I sent him to People’s Park.

Yeah, additionally, no LB with 50 tackles on the year should be considered the best defensive player in college football. There are linebackers with 120+ tackles.
