Cal Football Coaching Salaries
Tedford ranks 11th in total salary, 11th in overall, 19th in other things, and 40 something in max bonuses.
Cal's assistants are ranked 46th in total payroll, 45th for highest salary (Ludwig), 45th for lowest salary (Lupoi). Interesting to see Marshall making so much given the results so far and Gould and Alamar making the same amount (ugh).

What’s with Gould being grouped with Marshall and Alamar? Or is the “ugh” directed specifically at ALAAAMAAAAAAAR?

Gould should get paid more. He has produced some great backs in his day. Maybe it is because he is the only one left from the Holmoe regime and is still being punished?

Punished?

A joke, my friend. One obviously poorly executed on my part. I apologize for my feeble attempt at humor. )-;

Clearly working under Tom Holmoe was punishment enough.

I found out over the course of that crazy New Mexico-BYU women’s soccer game that Tom Holmoe is the A.D. at BYU. I think I hate the LDS now.

Holmoe was always LDS, IIRC. At the very least he was a standout safety and cornerback for BYU before playing for the 49ers in the 1980s (winning three titles). And personally, I think he’s a much better fit as an Athletic Director than as a coach; it suits his skills and personality much better.
So, basically, you gotta Go Bears!

Kyle Whittingham (Utah HC) was one of Holmoe’s teammates at BYU. So, I mean, we were close to having a good coach, just missed the mark.
