Aaron Rodgers v. Brett Favre II Open Thread + Bears in the Pros
This afternoon is supposed to be all about one quarterback. By the end of it, I'm fairly certain we'll be talking about the other guy on the field.
This is your open thread for Packers-Vikings and all the other NFL action today! Go Aaron! Take down the Purple People Eaters!
To discuss Cal, scroll down to the postgame thread! Reveling in Victory should be up later this afternoon.

It looks really dumb, but we saw James Cameron spend a lot of time and money on another stupid looking movie that turned out to be world-famous.

Sagarin has us at 13 (sans final scores — if you account for margin of victory, he has us at 26). Oregon is at 4, with USC at 10, and our next four opponents at 20 (Oregon State), 12 (Arizona), 34 (Stanfurd), and 28 (Washington).
The highest-rated opponent we’ve beaten so far is Minnesota, at 38. I think we’ve got one heck of a November coming up.

So Tom Cable’s anger is allegedly not limited to just annoying assistant coaches.

Watching GB’s 3-4 makes me feel our struggles have been with the overall talent of our LB unit his year, tbh. seems we need more of the versatile pass rushers. seem to be recruiting those… and i wonder how Ryan Davis’ RS season is going. he’s got the size for that

Jarred Price has the most sacks on our LBing corps I think…maybe he can be an option next season?

Not really… if they woulda just stopped them there, they woulda been down one score regardless
STAY THIRSTY, MY FRIENDS
I think going for a 51 yard FG, down by 5 points with 5 min left has a lower probability of victory than going for it.
dboneisloose
This one sucks. Favre had four short fields to set up those touchdown drives. Harvin and Peterson deserve the lion’s share of credit for the win.
Email: bearsnecessities@gmail.com
Most of Favre’s “wins” since he left Green Bay have been the results of other people’s efforts (Thomas Jones, Jets D, Jared Allen, All Day, you name it). However, I think the sportswriters are too busy sucking Favre’s dick to realize that.
dboneisloose
Was it just me, or does Troy Aikman seem to hate Aaron Rodgers. He spent the entire first half talking about how everything bad that happened to the Green Bay offense was Rodgers’ fault, and then when Rodgers was doing great in the second half, Aikman lavished praise on everyone but Rodgers.
I noticed that too. Maybe it’s because Aikman’s a Bruin?
Email: bearsnecessities@gmail.com

Aikman is just another Okie queer
He and Favre started around the same time so they are probably buddies. Favre is definitely a better QB than Aikman. The guy is just way more mobile and Aikman didn’t have much to offer besides having a big accurate arm.
Now, at least he doesn’t have a jizz pool for Favre like John Madden who should just stay the F_ retired and coach the Daly City hot dog league.
Dear Packers Defense and Offensive Line,
Fuck all y’all.
Sincerely,
Some Dude.
