Cal v. WSU 9.6.08 3rd Quarter Thread
Cal up a lot to a little going into half. Riley struggled a bit at the end there. But tough to complain about this team effort so far. Let's look forward to learning a lot about backups and younger players. And let's root for NO injuries! SydGOD is a GOD!

Man Riley's play was a bit uninspiring
Let’s get Brock or Nate in for some experience.
And let’s not blow the lead.
In other words, Go Bears!
The only way a bad injury happens
is if Tedford is dumb enough to play any starters. Besides, your second stringers could beat our first stringers.
Stats
Riley: 6/14, 51yards, 43, 3.6YPA, 1TD, 0INT
Roger: 9/20, 73yards, 45, 3.7YPA, 0TD, 2INT
But Riley has been hit three times already, twice for penalties and once when going out of bounds.
I say let Riley have more experience… get his confidence back.
Guhh
The guy’s too excited right now; he’s more overconfident than anything.

I'm looking forward to ASU-Stanford tonight
It should be interesting to see how ASU matches up against a Pac-10 team.
I would like your 2000 word essay submitted by Monday as to why.

Hey
As a Richmond alum, I want to let you know we’re actually pretty good, ranked #4 in 1-AA.

Im torn on this. Riley and Best are in. Potential injuries, yes. But experience, yes. Hard to tell.

GOD, I wish I had Best on my fantasy team? Who has Best in the CGB fantasy league? I envy that person.

I'll take Jeremiah Johnson and Beanie Wells, thank you very much

Time of possession:
WSU 21:50
Cal 12:32
That speaks volumes about our offensive efficiency. That’s almost 4 points per minute.
as long as cignetti doesn't call anything deep
I’m good with Longshore playing.
Go Bears!

CaliSeth needs to make a statement
This clearly shows Cal has no confidence in Riley’s routing abilities.
For Nate's confidence
I really hope he plays well. Riley’s our guy, but Nate’s given everything to this team and deserves some success
nate seems to like
throwing to boateng. i heard they spent a lot of time practicing together over the summer
My wife just looked at Nate and said “Hes kind of a fatty!”

Anybody who calls themselvse a Cal fan wants Longshore to do well. Who would root against our backup QB getting confidence and having success?

Take Nate out of the equation, then. Who would root against Cal doing well? Who would root against a QB getting back into the swing of things?

I’m partial to the brass section. (played trumpet for awhile and a good friend from high school was in the trombone section)
Can we score more than 60?
The most we’ve scored since I’ve been a student here was 56 back in 2005.
Then we need 67.
We have a good chance of beating Oregon’s 42-point win. Let’s go for it and set a Tedford scoring record at 71 or more.
You think we should do a 4th quarter thread or do you think we should just keep this?
