Wasn't as bad as I remembered
Then again, these were the highlights, not the lowlights.
That blown safety call and the missed opportunities off turnovers really cost us in this game.
Our OLine play (norris and chet) and our WRs not getting open lost this game for us. We did get out coached, but it didnt’ lose the game for us.
In reviewing the tape, our D stepped up in the second half with good adjustments and timely blitzes… in fact, if you take away the Riley/Young INT, the Terps scored 28 points… which is about what we give up in every game over the past 3 years. In fact, the D sacked the QB, forced fumbles got a safety… they did OK against the run keeping them to 141 yards on the ground… that’s really not that bad… it’s just the timing of the runs did us in. They schemed us to perfection on those runs trapping out our LB’s lateral movement.
I might post some video of the OLine assignment mistakes (there’s soooo many!)… but I’m wondering if anyone could stomach them.
It'd be educational
