Awesome. I’ll just pretend this is 2004 and the Packers are the Bears, and we beat the Penn State Lions.
And forget whatever game Cal played this week. Poof. Already forgotten.

We needed some good news
… and Aaron provided some for us. He had an awesome day. 24/38, 328yrds, 63% comp, 8.6 yrds/attempt with a rating of 117.5!!! QB ratings for NFL are calculated differently and a 117.5 is amazing.
While Favre was struggling against the Patriots, Rodgers was annihilating a terrible Lions defense, passing for 328 passing yards and three first-half touchdowns.
…but this game and day will be remembered for Rodgers being one of the biggest winners in the NFL. He once again showcased his strong arm and perfect timing with most of his receiving corps. Rodgers’ touchdowns went to three different wide receivers (Donald Driver, Jordy Nelson and James Jones), none of them to big-play guy Greg Jennings.
But as Tony Kornheiser would say...
“DO YOU WANT TO SEE HIM PLAY AS MUCH AS BRETT FAVRE?”

Hey man...
We needed something positive. I am sure we’ll see some coverage of Desean with his game against the Cowboys tomorrow. I just have to say, Danzig, damn son, where you get those fancy tunes for the video? Freaking awesome dude!
Hydro’s just mad because Brock Mansion gets no love here.

When did Rodgers become a "mobile" quarterback?
It probably was a function of Tedford’s offense, but I hardly remember him ever leaving the pocket when he was at Cal.
And, btw, Danzig, I really liked both the music you selected for this clip and the fact that you kept the commentators over it in the audio. Props.
Damn, is ur avatar the Super Nintendo game I grew up to love? Did you play that game too? I used to love that game. Everything is getting so nostalgic around here, what with the Ninja Turtles and KGjr game.
I think he became mobile the second he was compared to Favre. And I do remember him being relatively mobile around the goal line. Tedford would call for the option in the red zone at least once a game.
I'm still wondering why the Nets didn't draft Leon Powe.

Thanks Danzig
I know Rodgers is no Hall of Famer, but can all the ESPN mouths shut up with the Favre comparisons and let Rodgers play out his career now . . .
"It's not my fault your team's so shitty" - every AL Manager to Bob Geren
Let's be cautious
First of all, Detroit made Matt Ryan look like Aaron Rodgers. Secondly, neither of the Packers first two opponents were much good.
We will know a lot more about Rodgers after he plays one of the best defenses in the NFC on Sunday night. This is the tipping point.
