Jump in here to talk about Oregon/Purdue, UCLA/BYU, Michigan/ND, and all the other games on. I'm sure we'll have to start a new one by 5 pm when Ohio State/U$C starts up!

It's gonna be a bad day for the PAC10
It’s sad that we have to rest our hopes on OSU over Hawaii and gag… USC….
I have Curtis Painter on my fantasy team so I sort of want him to do well
www.californiagoldenblogs.com
Oregon getting jumped early like us, but they actually look more awake than we did
www.californiagoldenblogs.com
So I have Versus HD on my cable package but it’s split with the Golf Channel HD. I can watch UCLA v. BYU in regular def, but the people have spoken and it’s the women’s LPGA on hi-def. I hate living in San Diego sometimes.
I love San Diego, I want to live there but then I'd be further away from home games :(
www.californiagoldenblogs.com
Id ignore him. Hes wasted

Hey, sorry man. I wasn’t trying to talk shit. But understand that it has been a rough day. I am having trouble even typing this, but I believe in you guys tonight.
No apologies needed
I was only able to tune into the third quarter and thought they had screwed up the score. I was absolutely pulling for Cal because these ACC people have some nutty notion that they can play football and it gets boring to listen to.
The one good thing about watching UCLA/BYU are the cutaways to the UCLA cheerleaders
www.californiagoldenblogs.com
Oregon may loose.... My God!
This could be a bad day for the PAC. Purdue is just as bad if not worse than Maryland.
Another upset alert: South Carolina 7 #2 Georgia 3
Hey, looks like Cal’s shitty performance might get swept under the carpet.
If USC loses tonight, the rest of the country will go back to ignoring the Pac-10
It’s alright. All of us can just begin our rumble for the Rose Bowl.

DC
I know you from EDSBS Live; thoughts on the game tonight? Is USC going to actually “Smash Buckeyes”?
I'm not expecting a beat-down
I flat out don’t believe that Beanie Wells won’t play. But even if that’s true, Sanchez can be spooked into throwing interceptions – whereas Booty was too slow to check down receivers, Sanchez is bolder and that could bite us in the ass. Also, if they throw Pryor on the field, SC will struggle with him.
If the Buckeyes try to play time-of-possession bore-to-death ball, they’ll lose. They still think that big O-lines stop speed.
I think SC can with it by a TD, unless Boeckmann throws a couple of picks.
USC's offensive line
versus Ohio State’s defensive line – who wins that battle?

I'd give the Buckeyes the advantage there
They’ll slow the Trojan run game and force Sanchez to beat them with his arm.
by BearsNecessity on Sep 13, 2008 2:02 PM PDT up reply actions
tOSU early, SC later
SC’s offensive line is pretty shiny and new, so they’ll probably struggle a bit early… but I think they can wear tOSU out. Hope so.
Did anyone see Kirk Herbstreit last night? He basically came right out and said that Tressel was full of shit about Wells.
The way this day is going for the Pac 10
I’m tempted to hop in the car and race to a sports book and put a big bet on Ohio State plus the points (though I expect USC to get the win).
Good to see you here, DC Trojan.
I have NEVER bet on USC (because I puke at the sight of mustard and red)
but I put $60 on USC to win. So I win if USC wins or loses :-)
Wow, got a lot of other fans in here. Trojan fan, Nebraska fan, UCLA fan, anybody else?

I saw a couple blocks from campus with a Gamecocks shirt this week.
I was sad that in only said “South Carolina” though.

Notre Dame 28 Michigan 17
A player rolled on Charlie Weis’s leg. He’s wearing a brace and he’s gutting it out on the bench. If either of these teams were still relevant, they’d replay this on ESPN every day next week.
Oh wait, they probably will.
Graduated UCLA
Got into Cal but didn’t want to go because it was too close to home and it’s full of hippies…
Plus I love LA… I’m a Cal fan unless they’re playing UCLA.
Is Cal full of hippies? I always got the sense it was full of regular California kids with high GPAs and SAT scores.
There's that
and hippies… But at least you got rid of the tree hippies… and Blondie’s is a good start to making up for all the other hippies…
It is a bunch of regular California kids with high GPAs and SAT scores. They just happen to be surrounded by a town of hippies.
Really? You’re just a year removed from the worst game ever.

And whenever he's about to be sacked he seems to throw
One of those is bound to be intercepted or not have enough momentum to be considered a forward pass.

settles for a field goal from the two.

Oregon cheerleaders are ridic, they always seem to have a great looking squad

Do you guys not have open threads on your blogs? No disrespect, just curious. Why are you posting with us?
Hey, be a nice host now. Danzig. The more, the merrier, I say. As long as people stay civil, it should be fine.

Huh? I was being nice. I’m just wondering why they’re hanging out with us rather than their own fans… If I were me I’d want to hang out with my peeps.
Thats it, Danzig! If you dont stop acting like a total dick, Im kicking you off the blog.

I assume because the Trojan nation is at the coliseum. This place was kind of a grave yard when we played Mich. St.
Wasnt there like 900 comments in the 3 open threads that day?

Everyone says A-state, but when you really look they're not that pretty, they just act slutty... so their rating is inflated.

so ucla losing to byu big time is proof that ucla beating tennessee was a fluke, right?
www.californiagoldenblogs.com
No
I don’t think it was a fluke. I think that everyone was keyed up because it was Ricky’s first home game. He’s damned good at that, but you get him out of his element and the magic goes away.
Watch what he says, not after this loss, but it’ll always be someone else’s fault if he hasn’t changed his ways.

Oregon vs. Purdue
Highly touted Pac-10 running team shut down and passing game has been lackluster. Defense doesn’t seem to do anything. Sound familiar?
Both teams were overrated after beatdowns of crappy teams
Naturally, I fell into the hype. Stupid me. I should know better.

Watching my Mormon buddies destroy UCLA makes my day better after a tough loss.

Intriguing
Because Tommy Smyth with a “y” is a blight on the soccer landscape. I think we could make all manner of people happy in one fell swoop.

It's like a continuation of the 2007 nightmare.
Just when they were getting everything together too…
On the bright side for Cal,
It looks like the Pac-10 is really weak this year. Struggling against Purdue is never a good sign for the second best team.
