It's gonna be a bad day for the PAC10

It’s sad that we have to rest our hopes on OSU over Hawaii and gag… USC….

by impaulv on Sep 13, 2008 1:28 PM PDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I hate OSU more than USC. I’m not sure how that’s possible, but I do.

by The Hombre on Sep 13, 2008 1:29 PM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Yeah, at least with USC they cheat but don’t get embarrassed in the title game. I’ve also heard some pretty disgusting things about OSU fans.

Versus

It’s the taint of sports broadcasting…

by impaulv on Sep 13, 2008 1:35 PM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

So I have Versus HD on my cable package but it’s split with the Golf Channel HD. I can watch UCLA v. BYU in regular def, but the people have spoken and it’s the women’s LPGA on hi-def. I hate living in San Diego sometimes.

by The Hombre on Sep 13, 2008 1:38 PM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

HAHA

I love San Diego.. Can’t wait to get back. Although sailing around in the South Pacific kinda makes up for the 4 months in the Persian Gulf…

I take no pleasure in it

I don’t want to see any Pac 10 team lose like that to BYU.

No apologies needed

I was only able to tune into the third quarter and thought they had screwed up the score. I was absolutely pulling for Cal because these ACC people have some nutty notion that they can play football and it gets boring to listen to.

I know you from EDSBS Live; thoughts on the game tonight? Is USC going to actually “Smash Buckeyes”?

by BearsNecessity on Sep 13, 2008 1:53 PM PDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

They have to… We still have conference pride on the line. Cal will rebound from this.

by CaliSeth on Sep 13, 2008 1:54 PM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I'm not expecting a beat-down

I flat out don’t believe that Beanie Wells won’t play. But even if that’s true, Sanchez can be spooked into throwing interceptions – whereas Booty was too slow to check down receivers, Sanchez is bolder and that could bite us in the ass. Also, if they throw Pryor on the field, SC will struggle with him.

If the Buckeyes try to play time-of-possession bore-to-death ball, they’ll lose. They still think that big O-lines stop speed.

I think SC can with it by a TD, unless Boeckmann throws a couple of picks.

by corn blight on Sep 13, 2008 1:59 PM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I'd give the Buckeyes the advantage there

They’ll slow the Trojan run game and force Sanchez to beat them with his arm.

by BearsNecessity on Sep 13, 2008 2:02 PM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

tOSU early, SC later

SC’s offensive line is pretty shiny and new, so they’ll probably struggle a bit early… but I think they can wear tOSU out. Hope so.

How did he miss that?

It was only 27 yards and he’s normally ridiculously good at FGs.

Traumatized

I would be too. That’s just awful.

Georgia didn't look good at all today

Probably means they beat up ASU next week.

Oregon vs UCLA

Who will lose more QBs this season?

Terrible. I feel for them.

It's like a continuation of the 2007 nightmare.

Just when they were getting everything together too…

On the bright side for Cal,

It looks like the Pac-10 is really weak this year. Struggling against Purdue is never a good sign for the second best team.

Or at least by the rankings

I guess ASU is above them, for one more week at least.

It looks like a sprained knee though

He was able to hobble somewhat on his own power, so it’s probably not too serious.

NO GOOD

Oregon can go for the win now.

Missed FG

Oregon will likely limp away with a win.
