It sounds like Patrick Chung’s ego was bruised more by Marshawn’s stiff-arm than this woman was bruised by Marshawn’s driving.
I'm still wondering why the Nets didn't draft Leon Powe.

It doesn't surprise me at all.
I love Marshawn too, but this doesn’t come as a surprise to me.

Wake up TwistNHook. I want an introspective post with cultural references to Family Matters and Bollywood soap operas.

Bah, I was in court all afternoon. I’m brutally weary now. All I can say is that I still believe in Marshawn. Even the best amongst us make mistakes. Hopefully, he can make restitution and move forward. Of course, there will be a civil action, so this drag on probably.
As for cultural references, all I’ve got is a Karate Kid reference. I really need to stop letting Bill Simmons write my material

Let’s hope that this is the last time Marshawn gets into any sort of trouble.
Will the NFL suspend him for a few games?

Emperor Goodall has not shown hesitancy on sending out suspensions. A traffic infraction seems light. But he fears the PR backlash more than the legal backlash. I wouldn’t be shocked if Marshawn missed a game. Let’s hope not!

But, he has to know about the implications regarding the NFLPA of handing out a suspension for what legally amounts to a traffic violation.

I don’t doubt that the NFLPA would be against suspending Marshawn for such a minor crime. Nor am I trying to say definitely that Goodall will suspend him. Merely that Goodall’s #1 objective seems to be fighting the perception that NFL players are criminals. Most people probably heard about this case and said “Oh that Marshawn is such a thug.” and left it at that. Most people don’t dig deeper to get all the facts. That’s what Goodall’s concern is. So, we’ll see.
