6/17 DBD: Good luck Ryan!

Well, as all of you know by now, Ryan Anderson elected to remain in the draft instead of returning at Cal to get two Nat'l Championships.  Bummer.  As disappointed as I am, I really do hope he gets picked in the top 20, but every draft tracker has him in the late 1st or early 2nd.  We'll have to wait to see where he gets picked to decide if his move paid off or not.

Interesting note in the article is this quote:

Anderson remains optimistic about the Bears and said he's heard rumors Cal might get 6-10 transfer Alex Stepheson, who left North Carolina earlier this spring after his sophomore season.

Anybody know anything about this guy?

In other Pac-10 news, Chase Budinger will return for his junior year , and Luc Richard is staying in the draft.

In more bad press for the NFL, Raiders receiver Walker was robbed in Vegas and knocked out .

And finally, Tyson Ross signed with the A's a few days ago.  Some people are concerned about his mechanics and think they are too similar to Mark Prior's.  Hopefully the A's can fix them and get him to use his legs.  If he does use his legs, I think he could throw like 125 mph.

Dump away!
