Thought that would look better

Well, here’s a larger (though still shrunken) version: http://www.flickr.com/photos/cosmicwonderful/2496826086/sizes/l/

Awesome panoramic

Wonder who we’re playing. Opposing team’s band is wearing red. Either Stanfurd or U$C then.

I think you need more sleep Hydro

But if you can decipher these hieroglyphics posted directly below the photo above, then you can figure out who we are playing:

“Memorial Stadium panorama – Oregon at Cal, 2004.”

Unfortunately, I’m not fluent in English. And illiteriteeee.

Quite obviously

I do need more sleep. Yesterday I was operating on 5 hours. But I swear, if you look closely at where the opposing band sits, there’s a big glob of red. What the heck is that then???

thanks!

I don’t pretend to take the best amateur photos of Cal football, but I like to try. Thanks for the compliment.

If I could figure out a way to post the full version (I might just have to pay for a Flickr Pro account), you would also be able to see that the scoreboard says “Cal 0 Oregon 0” (it’s 10 minutes before kickoff).

I zoomed in on the big glob of red – and you’re right, it is a band. Mystery solved, though: I’m pretty sure it was high school band day.

This will have to do: you can download the full version here.

It was a high school band. I remember telling my friend, who I was there with. that it was weird a band cheering for Cal would come dressed in red.

Can't blame them though

It’s not like they could specially-made uniforms just for the one performance.

I’ve been lucky – my HS colors were blue and gold, and even my grad school wears blue (albeit a shade that looks more like UCLA’s).

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J.
