We think he’d be the sixth best quarterback in the draft if he declared.

i would doubt anything higher than 3rd round at this point...
but that’s just my amateur assessment. he needs to work on the 40.
I just got every possible answer

Hagan kinda lost his footing. Sort of favored one foot and couldn’t get in the air.
by BearsNecessity on Dec 27, 2008 6:00 PM PST up reply actions
Been noticing that our CBs in general aren't really jumping up there for the ball to contest it.
Even with Syd, he was in the right position but he didn’t really jump and the WR ended up on top of him.
Those are hard for DBs
You’re supposed to check the WR’s route and by the time you figure out he’s just going to the back of the end zone, you look up and the ball is caught

I think Hagan was thinking run on that play… then he realized it was a pass and couldn’t find how far his receiver had gone.
Please tell me thats your answer to the Alfac Trivia Question

Wish Best could have caught that.
We would have gotten a first down I think.
looks like our o-line's pass protection is still quite suspect
i'm here to clean your pool but i don't have a pool *bowchica bowow*
Baseball grass doesn’t provide good footing I’d imagine.

Hope our defense ready to get us good field position… If the first quarter was ours, the second quarter has been trending the other way.
i worry that our defense is spending too much time out on the field

What a powehouse high school, good Lord
I support Takimoto in his effort to support Roger Kieschnick in his quest to becoming the best Kieschnick ever to play professional baseball.
We're playing too far off on the defense. 3rd and long and only a three man rush?!
ARGH. GREGORY BLITZ.
It's been working pretty well on previous possessions.
For a freshman QB who’s starting to gain confidence, do we really want to give him time to find open receivers?
Esp. since we’re playing off of the WRs by about 3-5 feet. With that much room as long as they catch within 3-4 yards of the yellow line, it’s going to be another first down.
Bears have been playing zone coverage for years. Usually it minimizes huge breakdowns.
by BearsNecessity on Dec 27, 2008 6:18 PM PST up reply actions
And considering his deep ball abilities, having an extra secondary man out there really helps.
by BearsNecessity on Dec 27, 2008 6:19 PM PST up reply actions
I know, I know...
Theoretically it helps (of course, everything run is supposed to be theoretically helpful. ;)
But I’d love to see some more sacks.
There you go
Good D

can't really blame longshore too much at this point
as much as i really want to… he had a couple overthrows but no real crucial mistake.
agreed. it's our shitty line again
i'm here to clean your pool but i don't have a pool *bowchica bowow*
Maybe Longshore needs to loft it a bit
over the outer shoulder of the receiver instead of at chest height.
jesus nate's too experienced to keep being this inaccurate
