just imagine

how happy you will be if we actually win this game. That is beyond my active imagination.

Well, Riley’s in.

by BleedinBlue on Nov 8, 2008 6:58 PM PST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Longshore with the hat, does that mean he doesn’t think he is coming back

by Tedfordisgod on Nov 8, 2008 6:58 PM PST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

don’t they always wear hats on the sidelines?

Probably when they wear the headset.

by Tedfordisgod on Nov 8, 2008 7:00 PM PST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Gentlemen, I’m not sure I agree with the move to put in Riley for health reason, but this is a game for men. Let’s go Bears!

by The Hombre on Nov 8, 2008 6:58 PM PST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I’m just praying he doesn’t get hit hard.

Nice play by the SC LB there.

by The Hombre on Nov 8, 2008 6:59 PM PST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I think this was a planned sub for Riley

…. if LS wasn’t effective in the 1H, he was going with Riley at the drop of a hat… let’s see if i’m right at the post-game presser… i’m sure the question will be asked.

by danzig on Nov 8, 2008 6:59 PM PST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

The offense just feels more dangerous with Riley out there. I have hope!

by Tedfordisgod on Nov 8, 2008 7:00 PM PST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I agree…. i just hope Riley’s relaly 100% okay enough to be playing

me too. we need him for the next 2 years.

by Wham on Nov 8, 2008 7:02 PM PST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Like you said, I don’t think Tedford is the kind of coach to risk the health of his QB just for a game we were expected to lose. He’s probably okay to play, as long as he doesn’t run headfirst into groups of LBs.

ಠ_ಠ

by Berkelium97 on Nov 8, 2008 7:02 PM PST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I feel like Riley should be wearing the old Steve Young double helmet out there

by Tedfordisgod on Nov 8, 2008 7:02 PM PST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Take a hold, take a 15 yd for a chop block, but DO NOT LET THEM HIT RILEY. Still don’t think I like this move. But what do I know, my school’s down 35.

This is Longshore's fault.

It’s to offset the penalties that saved him.

by Berkelium97 on Nov 8, 2008 7:05 PM PST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Where is the penalty?

by Tedfordisgod on Nov 8, 2008 7:05 PM PST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

by VandyImport on Nov 8, 2008 7:06 PM PST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

We did get saved by the calls on the INTs, but those weren’t nearly as bad of calls

by Tedfordisgod on Nov 8, 2008 7:07 PM PST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Those actually were good calls.

Go Bears!

by California Pete on Nov 8, 2008 7:15 PM PST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Yep. I’m still sick of the screen passes especially against a D like SC’s.

by The Hombre on Nov 8, 2008 7:07 PM PST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

You can’t push over our receiver.

by The Hombre on Nov 8, 2008 7:07 PM PST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I think it is both the officiating, and the fact that USC commits a ton of penalties

by Tedfordisgod on Nov 8, 2008 7:08 PM PST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Nice hop by Ross :D

by BleedinBlue on Nov 8, 2008 7:09 PM PST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

The phantom TD in a USC-Cal game was in 2002 from what I recall, Carson Palmer was the QB.
