UCLA-OSU update

Kevin Craft fumbled the ball on his own 4 yard line and gave it up to Oregon St. On the next play, Sean Canfield fumbled the ball and UCLA recovered on their own 7.

I really hope Yakety Sax was playing during that time period!

Please disregard the above ramblings as those of a clearly delusional fan.

In case anyone was wondering, Petros Papadakis confessed his love of Bread and Hat during the Oregon game. So… keep that going.

YES! BLOCKED!

Moevao comes in for Canfield

And his first pass is intercepted by UCLA. I’m glad Alabama-LSU, Oregon-Stanford, and Penn St-Iowa have been good, because this is some grade-A uglyball.

Ugh. LSU’s QB really sucks.

by The Hombre on Nov 8, 2008 4:20 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

Good game. I would have loved to see Alabama lose there, but the upside is that there’s still time to go get some beer, fixings for nachos, and something artery clogging for dinner. Best of luck to everyone in their pregame ritual. I recommend a short prayer to the ghost of Pappy Waldorf.

by The Hombre on Nov 8, 2008 4:24 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

Seriously, how bad is the SEC?

Alabama baaaarely scraped out a win against an underwhelming LSU team. I am so incredibly unimpressed. I really think that Alabama should lose the No. 1 ranking after that stinkfest. That game was almost unwatchable. I thought that both Oregon and Stanford looked better than either of those teams. Speak of … I know the $C game is like minutes away, but I am already getting very anxious about Big Game. Stanfraud almost pulled it out in Autzen.

by RickySanchez on Nov 8, 2008 4:29 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

Check again

After today, what is the SEC’s record vs. the Mountain West? And while Tennessee is obviously not the standard-bearer for the conference, neither is Wyoming for the MWC.

Quite frankly, I don’t think there is a very big difference between the quality of all the conferences. All have good teams. All have bad teams. And as we’ve seen time and time again, it is never easy to run the table in any conference. Never.

Go Bears!

by California Pete on Nov 8, 2008 4:44 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

The SEC is on a down year. But their best teams are still way ahead of the Pac-10’s best teams and slightly ahead of the MWC.

random question...

i’m watching this on regional ABC, but I can’t seem to pick up the ABC HD channel right now. anyone know why? my other HD stations are working.

by Wham on Nov 8, 2008 5:21 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

I’ve had that problem before. I think sometimes your local station screws up the feed. They usually resolve it within a quarter.

by The Hombre on Nov 8, 2008 5:22 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

oh ok. i remember this happened during the olympics too. is it possible that they purposely don’t televise it becaues it’s too busy on the ABC HD channel?

by Wham on Nov 8, 2008 5:23 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

I wish I could mute that band

by BleedinBlue on Nov 8, 2008 5:25 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

I played high school and as an o-lineman you move on the snap count, so you can screw up sometimes. Wideouts move when they see the ball snapped.
