Cal warming up. Did not like the blue on white combo
ASU warms up. Some guy tried to taunt the student section and we responded (err I didn't start it but I participated) by chanting U-N-L-V

I agree about the white pants
On the road, all-white is fine. But at home, if not the classic Blue jersey and Gold pants combo, then either the all-blue or the still-undefeated Gold jersey and Blue pants is all that will do.
And I enjoyed the photos, too.

I’m not a bandie, but I thought that the alumni band was one of those nice touches that reminds you of what’s so great about college football.

i usually go to games in a group of 15-20 ppl, mostly eecs majors. we often take up 3+ rows, so since you’re standing next to two of my friends, and you’re eecs yourself, i jumped to conclusions.

PS, the UCLA game is the Joe Roth Memorial Game… That may mean throwback Jerseys (like USC last year).
The ASU players did a lot of taunting and instigating yesterday. Especially towards the student section pre-game. It’s always an even sweeter win when the opposing team does that and then loses.

It started when one of them did the “Suck it” sign to us.
The only other game in my 3 years at Cal where I’ve seen opposing players taunt students was at Stanfurd where that short ass safety who picked off Longshore taunted us with “scoreboard” when we chanted something about the axe at halftime

UNLV… and Junior college.
There was one ASU girl in the student section. During halftime when we were all sitting, she got up and started dancing and stuff to show off that she was an ASU student (wearing a gold ASU shirt). When people started chanting “junior college” she was like, “wtf?”

I love when the bye weeks coincide with Fleet Week. Makes my weekends much less conflicted.
The fly over was only T-38’s, though. I guess the Air Force Academy wanted to show off even though we beat them in the AFB?
